I went to the Fantastic Sams in Greenville, NC to get my hair done by a stylist named Cindy. Background info- I have dark brown hair that was long and didn't have split ends and came down 14/15 inches behind my back. I came in to get my hair bleached/dyed ashe blonde and I was charged approximately $115. The manager that was there, Lauren, told Cindy to go ahead and bleach my hair. I was sitting in the chair for about 30 minutes and Lauren told her to go ahead and let me sit under the dryer because my hair was taking a long time to be bleached. She let me sit under the dryer for around 45 minutes then washed the bleach out of my hair. Store was closing at 8 so she never finished drying my hair so I left with a wet head and my hair looked orange. She told me to come back 4/5 times to put toner in my hair to get the orange to tone down some. I come back in and had Tracey do my hair, which I had to pay for shampoo, conditioner and multiple products she claimed would fix my hair because it was so damaged/overprocessed from the bleach. She then informed me that Lauren didn't like me for whatever reason and had put two products that wasn't following protocol in my hair and left me under the dryer for too long, so she had to cut away 7/8 inches of my hair because it was completely fried, had split ends, and was falling out. Not to mention bright ORANGE, it was gummy all the way up behind my head and a large section of it as well. I could and can not brush my hair, straighten, curl or blow dry it otherwise it turns into a crispy fried looking clump of hair which is unmanageable. Tracey said she would try to fix my hair and I came back two weeks after for her to tone it down. Which it barely did. Afterwards, I had asked for a refund because I didn't pay $120 to look like bozo the clown and to have all my long healthy hair cut off because they were irresponsible in leaving the bleach in my hair too long and making me sit under the dryer. Tracey informed me that Lauren wasn't supposed to have told me to sit under the dryer for 45 minutes, but naive me, I trusted these professionals to do a good job, since I've been here for hair cuts and an ombre before. And obviously, I thought they knew what they were doing. I am a VERY dissatisfied customer. Not to mention, they only allowed me to come back once to get my hair toned. I have been to Savy Diva's in Greenville, and when they took a look at my hair, they thought whoever had done it obviously didn't follow protocol because my hair is RUINED and DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR, as those are the exact words the stylist said. I had to get the rest of my hair cut off to above my shoulders and there is still a large section in the back of my head that is gummy feeling. I am beyond disappointed in the stylists whom you've chosen to work for Fantastic Sam's as it is a reputable company and there are some amazing hair stylists out there. The fact that you hired a childish manager, Lauren, for whatever reason, decided to screw up my long brown hair. Not to mention, I model part time, so I've had less offers for jobs because of my boyish hair cut now, which will take YEARS to grow back out to where it was before. Thanks for reading this.
